AWOL Vision revealed its latest Aetherion series at CES 2026, bringing what the company calls the world’s sharpest 4K triple-laser ultra-short-throw projector. This new lineup aims to deliver big, bright, and crisp visuals that transform how people experience movies, games, and media at home.
The Aetherion projectors use a triple laser light engine that boosts color accuracy and brightness, producing clear 4K images even in rooms with some ambient light. The ultra-short-throw design lets you place the projector close to the wall or screen and still fill it with a massive picture. This setup can simplify installation and reduce shadows or glare that often plague traditional projectors.
Fast focus and scaling technologies are part of the package, allowing the projector to quickly lock on to a sharp image and adjust resolution smoothly. AWOL Vision says users will notice improved edge clarity and detail across the entire screen, which is especially useful for films and sports where motion and fine detail matter.
Smart features are built in as well. There is voice control support for hands-free operation, and the system works with common streaming platforms so you can launch shows or apps directly from the projector. Connectivity includes multiple HDMI ports and wireless casting options for phones and laptops.
The Aetherion series also emphasizes sound quality. Integrated speakers provide a fuller audio experience without relying solely on external sound systems, though there are audio output options for people who prefer a dedicated sound setup.
AWOL Vision plans to release the Aetherion projectors later this year, with pricing and configurations announced closer to availability. With this launch, the company is staking its claim in the premium home display category by pairing cutting-edge optics with user-friendly features for immersive entertainment.
