COLORFUL just unveiled the iGame X870E VULCAN W OC, an all-white flagship overclocking motherboard aimed squarely at enthusiasts who want serious tuning power without sacrificing looks. It’s a follow-up to the original iGame X870E VULCAN OC from earlier this year, refined over six-plus months and dressed up in an iridescent white finish that shifts with subtle rainbow reflections depending on the lighting and angle.
Under the hood, it’s built to push AMD Ryzen processors on the AM5 platform as far as they’ll go. An 18+2+2-phase 110A DrMOS power design pairs with a graphics-card-style heat pipe and fin cooling system to keep VRMs cool under heavy overclocking loads, and the 10-layer server-grade PCB uses immersion gold and back-drilling to cut down on signal loss. The two DDR5 slots support seriously fast memory too—up to DDR5-8800+ MT/s on Ryzen 9000, DDR5-10600+ MT/s on Ryzen 8000, and DDR5-8000+ MT/s on Ryzen 7000 chips.
For overclockers, there’s a dedicated Debug display, a BIOS switch, and BCLK adjustment for fine-tuning, plus a one-click overclocking button that makes things more approachable if you’re new to tuning. It also supports COLORFUL’s X3D AI High Frame Rate Mode and has been specifically tuned for AMD’s flagship Ryzen 9 9950X3D2.
One standout feature is the onboard iGame Smart LCD, a 268×800 pixel display that shows system info while doubling as a design flourish.
Storage and connectivity are well covered too, with five M.2 slots (two PCIe 5.0 x4, three PCIe 4.0 x4), nine front-panel USB ports including a 20Gbps USB-C with 60W Power Delivery, and two rear USB4 Type-C ports at 40Gbps that support 4K display output—handy if you’re a content creator working with large files and fast external drives.
Pricing: The iGame X870E VULCAN W OC carries a suggested retail price of 3,999 RMB (roughly $560 USD at current exchange rates). No word yet on international release dates.
