Logitech G is making high-end gaming peripherals more affordable with the launch of its new G3 Series lineup, introducing the G305 X SUPERLIGHT wireless gaming mouse and the G316 X 98 mechanical keyboard. The new duo is designed to offer many of the features found in premium esports gear, but at prices that are far easier on the wallet.
The star of the lineup is the G305 X SUPERLIGHT, an updated version of Logitech’s hugely popular G305 mouse. The new model weighs just 59 grams and packs Logitech’s HERO 44K sensor, capable of up to 44,000 DPI. It can also be paired with the optional PRO LIGHTSPEED receiver to unlock an 8 kHz polling rate, delivering extremely low latency for competitive gaming.
Connectivity is another highlight. The mouse supports LIGHTSPEED wireless, Bluetooth, and wired USB-C modes, allowing players to switch seamlessly between gaming PCs, laptops, and other devices. Logitech claims battery life exceeds 130 hours, while a quick two-minute charge can provide up to 3.5 hours of gameplay.
The accompanying G316 X 98 keyboard aims to bridge the gap between custom keyboards and gaming-focused designs. It features a compact 98-key layout, hot-swappable switches, and a multi-layer gasket structure designed to produce the satisfying “thocky” typing sound that has become popular among keyboard enthusiasts.
Performance has not been sacrificed for feel. The G316 X offers an 8 kHz polling rate and a 0.125 ms response time, ensuring rapid inputs during fast-paced games. Logitech has also included a dot-matrix LED display and a translucent control dial that lets users adjust brightness, report rate, volume, and media controls directly from the keyboard.
RGB enthusiasts are covered too. The keyboard features per-key LIGHTSYNC RGB lighting along with 30 customizable light bar zones, all configurable through Logitech’s G HUB software. Users can also create macros, remap keys, and install compatible aftermarket keycaps for additional customization.
The new peripherals join the previously released G325 gaming headset to complete the G3 Series ecosystem, which Logitech describes as a high-performance desktop setup aimed at everyday gamers rather than just esports professionals.
As for pricing, the G305 X SUPERLIGHT will retail for $79.99, while the G316 X 98 mechanical keyboard is priced at $119.99. Both will be available in black and white starting June 30, 2026.
