Mattel is celebrating the original XBOX’s 25th anniversary in a pretty fitting way for collectors and builders: a full 1:1-scale buildable model of the console itself, released under its premium building brand Mattel Brick Shop.
This isn’t a simple display piece, either. The set clocks in at 3,509 pieces and recreates both the console and its iconic “Duke” controller in exacting detail. That controller isn’t just for show—pressing its buttons triggers hidden scenes tied to three classic XBOX games: Halo: Combat Evolved, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and Psychonauts. Each scene lights up and plays its corresponding in-game soundtrack, and all three game-inspired modules can be removed and displayed individually. There’s also a secret button combination that unlocks an exclusive lighting sequence for anyone determined enough to find it. The set ships with 12 NanoWorld figures so you can recreate iconic moments from those games as well.
This is Mattel Brick Shop’s latest collaboration since launching in 2025, following sets like Masters of the Universe builds, the Halo Warthog, and various licensed vehicles from major automakers.
